Roads In Thanjavur

Airways in Thanjavur

It was during early 1990s when Thanjavur was connected to Chennai via Vayudoot flight service but service was halted because of poor keep. The nearest air port is at about 50 Kms which is Tiruchirapalli International Airport. Air force has set up an Air Force Station at Thanjavur which stations very famous sukoi jets.
